Summer update

Things are good with us. We’ve all become acclimated to post-tour life again (begrudgingly) and I think this is the most “ok” we’ve ever been after a tour yet. I am really excited about this, as we haven’t written anything new in well over a year. Samsara has been out for a few months, but it was done way before it was released. It feels great to be writing, its kinda like taking a shit in a comfortable place after eating taco bell and driving through eastern washington. It’s better once you feel safe enough just let it out. Not really any louder or quieter, or in different moods; but more about the song. We’re leaning away from using so much tapping and abrupt loud/quiet parts in favor of using odd but in-the-pocket grooves. I don’t know, you’ll hear it evenutally. We’re stoked though. On a personal note: I saw Rocky Votolato the other night. He has always...
